Be Preparedby Joyce Meyer - posted March 06, 2012
What does the Lord your God require of you but [reverently] to fear the Lord your God, [that is] to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being. —Deuteronomy 10:12
Complaining is death, and thanksgiving is life. Yet there are people who complain on their way to church while hoping to receive blessings. They don’t understand that complaining keeps them from getting what they want. They don’t come prepared to receive blessings in the Lord’s presence.
Prepare yourself for blessings by offering thanksgiving for what God has already done for you. The Word says, “For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced” (Matthew 12:37). Choose your words wisely today, and prepare yourself for God’s blessings.
